I trained at the Byam Shaw School of Art and at the Royal Academy Schools in London, and later did a course of evening classes in Etching at Chelsea School of Art. Memberships include the Printmakers Council (1981-86), the Society of Wood Engravers (from 1991), 12PM, Twelve Printmakers, and the Gainsborough Printmakers; I was chairman of Gainsborough's House Print Workshop from 1979-82.
